  • What if my test results come back positive?

If your results indicate that you have tested positive for any of the diseasesyou have screened for, we will help you get back on the road to better health. You will be provided with a free consultation (in certain states) with a physician or a member of our medical team, in which our staff can explain your results, answer follow up questions, and guide you in a treatment plan. If more intensive treatment is required, the physician will refer you to a specialist in your area.

  • How early can I be tested if I suspect I have been exposed?

An STD testing window will vary based on the infection. If you suspect you have been exposed during a recent sexual encounter, we recommend undergoing testing two weeks after exposure. This will allow time for the disease to be detected with our blood or urine testing and increase the likelihood of an accurate result. We recommend a subsequent testing in six weeks to detect any diseases that may not have been detectable initially.

  • What if I think I have been exposed to HIV or Hepatitis?

If you suspect you have been exposed to either the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) or Hepatitis B recently (within the past 72 hours), please go to an emergency room or an urgent care clinic for immediate treatment. Both of these diseases rely very heavily on preventative measures and early treatment.

  • Where can I get a private STD test?

We have over 4500 participating lab centers nationwide. Simply enter your zip code and find the closest LabCorp or Quest Diagnostic center near you. Your lab visit will take only 15 minutes and will involve submitting a blood and/or urine sample.

  • When is the best time for me to get my private STD test?

Your optimal STD testing window will depend on your personal circumstances. Some infections can take up to two weeks to detect with an STD screening. Not all infections present themselves in the same time frame, so we recommend a subsequent test approximately six weeks after your initial screening.
