The facts about Truvada

There is more information showing about the daily medicine for HIV and they call it Truvada. It can help in preventing HIV spread in gay and in bisexuals. It can also help with contracting AIDS that causes the virus.  The treatment is known as the PreP or the pre-exposure prophylaxis, which is quite efficient when it comes to averting the new HIV infections and must also be linked to the HIV prevention toolkit for gay who are at risk of being infected with HIV. The researchers have made a follow up with the men after 90 days. Those who have participated and the researchers were very much aware of the treatment group.  Based on the findings suggested, the PrEP is very much effective; the trial steering committee has suggested that in October of 2014, all of the participants in the delayed group who got the treatment will be offered by the preventive cure.

The men who were given the treatment right away, 3 HIV infections treated, when compared to the twenty in the delayed treatment group according to the study.
