Nevada is suffering from the highest rate of syphilis in the West part of the US after an outbreak occurred in Vegas. The Clark County health officials have declared an outbreak in Vegas few weeks back after taking note of the 128% rise in the reported cases of syphilis starting year 2012 with more than 615 of the 694 instances with more men being detected with it in 2015. It makes the rate of syphilis in Nevada the highest in the world.  There has been an uptick in various parts of Nevada that may also be tied to the populace increase, the state health department said. The youngsters in Nevada are having sex at a young age and they are not using condom.

Syphilis outbreaks have showed in the pockets of the US in the current years that includes in Kansas, Hawaii or even in Pennsylvania. The current available data coming from 2014 has showed that 15% of the increase in instances as a whole according to the CDC.
