What is the Relation of HPV Vaccines in Teen Sex?

HPV vaccines for young girls

In February of 2015, the report about the fear of the parents with daughters who will be vaccinated with HPV will not treat it lightly to start having dangerous sex based on a new study.  According to a new research, they hope that the results that were published in February 2015 about HPV Vaccines can help make the parents sleep soundly at night time. For decades, the experts have made their recommendations that the girls and young ladies must be vaccinated for HPV, which is the STI that can actually cause genital warts and in some individuals, it may lead to cervical cancer. Most of the instances of cervical cancer among American women are brought about by the stubborn HPV infection according to the experts.

The USCDCP and other groups have suggested that all of the girls ages 11-12 got the HPV vaccine and that the teens along with young ladies to the age 26 get shots if they missed the earlier window. While the vaccine was primarily suggested for girls only, there were bids now that boys and men must also be given a dose. But by 2013, around 38% of the US teen ladies had taken all of the 3 doses of the HPV vaccine and this is according to the CDC. There are different reasons; however, one of the problems has been especially bristly. Some of the people have been arguing about vaccines that will be provided to kid against the HPV. Some thought that this will give them the permit to start having sex at a young age; this is according to the view of the head researcher Dr. Jena.

The result based on the research

This has been a concern, according to Jena, who also happened to be the assistant professor of the health care policy at Harvard Medical School located in Boston. This is the reason why it is essential to go through a study. The previous surveys conducted highly suggest that the HPV vaccination has not been encouraging to kids to become sexually active. However, Jena jotted down that the research merely depends on the parents and kids.  To collect more objective about the picture, the team of Jena dealt with the health insurance records for more than 200,000 American girls. They have taken a closer a look at the rates of the common STDs such as chlamydia, herpes & gonorrhea.

According to the research, if the HPV vaccination shoots the girls to have sex, unsafe sex as a whole, then the diagnosis of the STD must alter accordingly within the year just after getting the vaccination. The investigators have discovered that the rates of STDs rose within the girls who are vaccinated to more than 7 instances in every 1,000 girls. Though, there was nearly matching boost among the girls who weren’t vaccinated yet whose rates went up by more than 4 in every 1,000 over the same period of time.
